At Willowcreek Middle School, we believe that when families and schools work together, students thrive. As educators, we see firsthand the incredible impact that positive parental involvement can have on a child’s academic success, confidence, and well-being.
We encourage all parents and guardians to take an active role in their student’s education. This can be as simple as checking in regularly about schoolwork, attending parent-teacher conferences, or encouraging your child to attend school regularly and stay engaged. Your presence—whether at home or on campus—sends a powerful message that education matters.
Beyond supporting your own student, we invite you to get involved in shaping the school community that serves all students. Consider joining our School Community Council (SCC), where parents collaborate with teachers and administrators to set academic goals, review school data, and guide how school funds are used. Or become part of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), where volunteers work to support teachers, organize events, and strengthen school spirit.
Whether you have a few hours a month or just want to stay informed, there is a place for you. Together, we can build a supportive, inclusive, and high-achieving environment for every Wolverine.
If you're interested in joining the SCC, please read more here about the Council and how to submit your name for a nomination. Parents are also encouraged to join PTA and can do so through our Willowcreek Giveback Page. Thank you for trusting us with your students and partnering with us!
