Lake Mountain School District is pleased to welcome Kerry Milner as the new Director of Teaching & Learning (K–6).
Kerry brings extensive experience in instructional leadership and a deep commitment to supporting educators and students. In this new role, she will help guide teaching and learning across the district’s elementary schools, with a focus on strong instructional practices, collaboration, and student success.
“I’m honored and excited to step into the role of Director of Teaching and Learning (K–6) in the new Lake Mountain School District,” Kerry said. “My goal is to ensure high-quality teaching and learning in every classroom by supporting educators, strengthening instruction, and keeping student success at the center of every decision.”
Kerry’s leadership has already been recognized at the state level. She received the Science of Reading Award from the Utah State Board of Education, honoring her work in a districtwide literacy initiative that strengthened teaching practices and improved student outcomes across grades K–6.
As Lake Mountain School District continues to grow, Kerry’s leadership will play an important role in supporting teachers, strengthening learning environments, and helping all students thrive.
