Dear Families,

With peanut butter returning to our schools (see the message from ASD Nutrition Services HERE), we understand concerns about student allergies. Please know that student safety remains our top priority. Here’s how we’re working to keep everyone safe:

What we’re doing:

• FARE training for all nutrition service staff

• Allergy-specific table in the lunchroom

• Staff trained to recognize and respond to allergic reactions

What you can do:

• Inform the school nurse of all student allergies

• Complete the required medication paperwork if your child needs medication at school

• Fill out and return the Diet Prescription Form
